Rooten Brook Charity Trial

On 3rd November 2019 the Rooten Brook Charity Open trial took place at Rooten Brook Farm in Quernmore, Lancaster. All proceeds from the trial were being raised for a local charity, Cawthornes Endowed School.
The weather throughout the day was lovely and dry, and there were 55 runs booked for the trial. The sheep being used were good to handle Swaldales.
Meg Hutchinson judged the trial and was assisted by Stephanie Hatton, and the results were as follows:
1st Sergio Perello with Murguia Jim on 88/100 points
2nd Tim Longton with Rooten Brook Roy on 87 points
3rd Thomas Huddleston with Udale Lucy on 85olf points
4th David Carleton with Ernie on 85 points
5th Henry Gorst with Bill on 84 points
6th Larry Cowper with Flo on 82 points
A fantastic amount of £368 was raised for Cawthornes Endowed School.
Thank you to everybody that helped with the catering, booking in the handlers, letting out the sheep, and for everybody that supported the trial throughout the day.
