Littledale Sheepdogs Charity Trial

On 23rd July 2019 Ricky and Meg Hutchinson (Littledale sheepdogs) held a Charity Sheepdog Trial in aid of Lancaster Neonatal Ward. A close friend of theirs gave birth to little 'Holly Rebecca Hey' five and a half weeks early, which meant Holly had to stay in the Neonatal ward, she spent 10 days there after she was born. The charity chosen by Littledale Sheepdogs is therefore one close to their hearts.

In addition to the amount raised at the trial through entries, a further donation from Pen-Y-Borough sheepdogs and the committee of the annual Littledale local trial was received. Cakes and refreshments were sold at the trial on the day, and a raffle was also held, with all proceeds being donated to the charity.

On 16th August 2019 a very impressive sum of £1,540 was presented to the Neonatal ward, and little Holly went back to the unit to present the cheque with her mum.

Thank you to everybody that supported the trial and this very worthy cause.
