Edale Charity Sheep Dog Trial
On Sunday 29th September 2019, by kind permission of the Wainwright Family, the Edale Charity Sheep Dog Trial took place.
This year in memory of the late Gus Dermody, his family chose the charity that all proceeds from the trial were to be donated to, and the chosen charity was Leighton Hospital Critical Care Unit, with a very impressive £465 raised throughout the day.
There were 50 competitors entered for the trial which was judged by James Dumbleton, and the results were as follows:
1st S Barcroft with Beechwood Ben on 82/100
2nd G Bonsall with Jake on 80/100
3rd J Gilman with Bonny on 78/100
4th J Alton with Jed on 78/100
5th S Duckworth with Bert on 75/100
6th P Wood with Bella on 74/100
Under 21's 1st place went to C Dumbleton with Dot
Once again, a huge thank you to everybody involved in organising and attending the trial and for giving up their spare time, and to all that supported the trial as spectators on the day. Charities rely heavily on your generosity and support.
