Come Bye & Away Charity Trial
On Saturday 12th October 2019, in the lovely setting of nearby Glastonbury the Come Bye & Away Sheep Dog Society held a charity trial in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
There was a great turn out for the trial with 43 booked runs, and the judge for the day was Di Fawing.
During the trial a raffle was held with so many lovely prizes which were kindly donated by everybody that joined in for the day, and Gilbertson & Page also donated dog food for the trial prizes. Abbey marques were also very generous and donated the use of four marquees for use during the trial.
Results of the trial were as follows:
Driving
1st Mike Dowden with Turk on 73 points
2nd Terry Pearson with Rock on 65 points
3rd Andy Melrose with Sue on 61 points
4th Richard Stock with Sam on 52 points

It is lovely to see the club supporting beginners and dedicating an award to them.
Throughout the trial an impressive amount of £393 was raised, which is fantastic for a relatively small amount of people, such great generosity.
Our thanks as always goes to everybody involved in organising and attending the trial, you have all supported a very worthy charity.
