Cowden Burn Trial, Northumberland
On 26th August the Cowden Burn Sheep Dog Trial took place in Northumberland, an event that was chosen to include funds being raised for charity.
The chosen charities of the trial were Tynedale Hospice and the Northumberland Air Ambulance, both such worthy causes. A very impressive £400 was raised during the trial and shared bewteen these two charities.
Thank you to everybody involved in organising the trial and for giving up their spare time in doing so, and to all that supported the trial on the day.
John Allen judged the 26 dogs scheduled to run, with the results of the trial as follows:
1st Bevis Jordan with Bozo - 71/100
2nd Bevis Jordan with Cis - 61
3rd Mike Northwood with Sam - 60
4th Helana Svobodova with Tray - 57
5th Susan Pearson with Gelert - 52
6th Jane Drinkwater with Kim - 51
