Isle of Man Representation – Feedback Requested

Isle of Man Representation – Feedback Requested

We’ve received a formal request from a select few members that reside in the Isle of Man to come under an alternative home nation for national competition purposes.

Currently, the Isle of Man is part of Ireland,  the request is based on travel difficulties — currently, there is only one ferry per week to Ireland, making participation in Irish national events challenging, this has prompted a request to review this arrangement.

We are asking all handlers who live on the Isle of Man to share their views on whether the island should:

  • Remain part of Ireland, or
  • Move to fall under an alternative home nation for future national competitions.

Your feedback is essential to ensure that any decision made by Council reflects the wishes of our members residing on the Isle of Man.

Please email your feedback to John.McCullough@isds.org.uk by Thursday 23th October.

Your input will help ensure that the discussions for the future reflects the preferences of handlers on the Isle of Man.

Kind Regards,

ISDS Team
