Taking dogs to and from Eire.

PLEASE note that you can enter the English National without a rabies vaccination being completed, but you will need to provide proof of the vaccination ahead of competing at the trial.

Therefore, you do not need to arrange this until you know you have made ‘the cut’ and your entry is accepted.

The regulation is that the rabies jab must be administered 21 days before travel to Eire.

Within ten days of travelling to Eire a health certificate needs to be arranged for the travelling dogs.

Within five days of travel, travelling dogs must have had a treatment for tapeworm.
