Chairman's Update - 21st Oct 2021 - CEO announcement

I am delighted to announce the appointment of Isabel Branch to the post of ISDS CEO with effect from 1st of December 2021.
Isabel comes from a rural background and has worked for many years in the world of Polo club managment. I am sure you will all join with me in extending a very warm welcome to Isabel and we must all rally round to offer her our support and encouragement.
Helen Vickery has decided to move on to other things and I must thank her for all the hard work she has put in over the past eighteen months during a very difficult period in the history of our Society.
This message should also record huge thanks to our OEM Kate Wilkinson who has taken over the daily tasks of the CEO during Helen’s period of sick leave. I have advocated since I took up my post that the Society must have someone in place with the knowledge and ability to step in at short notice if the CEO is unavailable for any reason. Kate has not been with us for a great length of time but has been able to step up to cover the running of the International and basically keep the “wheels from falling off”.
I would also like to mention all the office staff and members who supported Kate during the International and helped to ensure a positive outcome. I trust that when Isabel joins us she will experience the same atmosphere of positivity and generosity of spirit from everyone.
