National Trial Entry - Alternate dog clarification
23 June 2021
Members were able to enter two suitably pointed dogs.
Alternate dogs can be pointed or un-pointed.
If one alternate dog is entered it can be used in place of either of the two originally entered dogs at the handlers discretion in the traditional fashion.
If two alternate dogs are entered the handler must stipulate which alternate dog is replacing which original entry. This follows the procedure used at the world trial where two alternate dogs are permitted.
Good luck to all entrants.
