End of 4 year term for Scottish National President

Today marks the last day in office for our current Scottish National President, Ian Brownlie.

Before welcoming our new president in to this post we would like to reflect and thank Ian for his service during the past 4 years as National President.

Ian has provided the society with an outstanding level of commitment during his term, and has managed with the great support of local committees to organise and hold 4 fantastic and memorable National trials, and an extremely successful and enjoyable International trial this year.

The position of National President is certainly not an easy one. It is demanding, time consuming, stressful and extremely hard work, managing all of this alongside your day job is no easy task! We fully recognise and appreciate what this position holds. However we mustn't overlook that it is also hopefully a very rewarding position too!

During the past four years we have seen many changes within the society, and we thank Ian for his support and dedication during this period, and for assisting us in driving the society forward on its new found path.

It has been most enjoyable working with Ian, and on behalf of the Society we thank Ian and hope that he can now enjoy his retirement from this post and look forward to seeing him out and about on the trial field!
