Changes to CEA testing
10 March 2017
In the latest issue of International Sheepdog News magazine, Tom Huddleston announces new changes to the CEA testing process in his first Chairman’s Message.
Tom writes: “I have publicly promised that during my term of office, the improvement of our dogs, and the good of our members will always be the Society’s priorities.
“So, it gives me great pleasure to announce news from the first meeting of the Society’s Health Committee.
“From immediate effect, the Society will accept a CEA test result from either a DNA test or a Haplo test, carried out at any established and reputable laboratory that offers this service. The samples submitted for either test can be blood or a cheek swab, that have been collected by a vet. This is a great move forward.”
