International Sheepdog Brace Champions 1926-2006

Published 2007. Comb Bound with laminated cover. 114 pages.
Brace running - two dogs working together - is one of the hardest tasks undertaken in competitive sheepdog work, yet in many ways it imitates the kind of work done by shepherds in the hills more closely than the singles competition.
This book covers all the International Brace champions, and includes the three 'missing years' (1926 - 1928) before the official records began, with handlers and dogs, some familiar, some less so (but just as important in the history of sheepdog trialling and breeding), right up to the Centenary International in 2006.

Intended as a companion volume to the Blue Riband and National Champion books. Edited by Andrew & Pauline Hall, with many photos, mostly from Barbara Carpenter's collection.

You can buy this book now from the ISDS Shop.
