No 14 - Conservation Shepherding

Over the last few years, the value of sheep in preserving and improving a habitat for its wildlife and scenic value has been increasingly recognised. This picture is of a section of Ashdown Forest, which is being managed using a closely shepherded flock, just one example of a real growth area involving a traditional shepherding method.
