No 5 - Trials programmes

They tell you who is running on the day, and serve as a reminder of who was there, and (if annotated) of who was in the prizes. This is the front cover of the programme from the 1899 Bala trial, with Class 1 Open to the World, Class 2 Open to North Wales, Class 3 Open to Parishes of Penllyn. Bala has a long association with sheepdog trials, and the Rhiwlas Cup  is one of the Society's most valued trophies.
