No 4 - Royal Patronage

The Society is fortunate to have Royal Patronage in the form of HRH The Princess Royal, who attended this year's International trials and watched some of the action from the stands with the Chief Executive and National Presidents.

It is interesting to note that there is a long history of Royal patronage of sheepdog trials, as this cutting from the London Daily News of May 17 1890 shows:
