2011 World Sheep Dog Trial News 01 May : The ISDS 2011 World Sheep Dog Trials will be held at the Lowther Estates, Cumbria, Northern England over 15 - 18 September 2011. The Lowther management are delighted that the event will be returning to where the ISDS held a very successful International Trial in September 2009. Invitations have gone out to all nations and local handlers should be aware of their national club's plans. For those planning a 'trip to remember' to the UK it is ideally located in a beautiful part of Britain. The week before sees the ISDS International Trial take place in Tain, Ross-shire, (8 -10 September) in the far North of Scotland, and this would make it possible to see two great events in two excellent locations over the two weeks. The new website is being assembled at www.worldsheepdogtrials.org News from the Society 2010 Annual Meeting 17 March: The amended Rules For Trials (2010) can be viewed as a pdf. 19 February: A reminder to all that dogs being taken for the BVA eye examination will require a microchip from 01 March. If you would like to see the news regarding ISDS Rules on Eye Testing or the changes to the Open Trial Points Rules please follow the highlighted links.
